Wedding Bars

I am here to talk about non-alcoholic wedding bars. Wedding bars have become more trendy over the past years. What exactly are they? Well, you may know them as candy bars, dessert buffets, cake buffets, cookie bars, nacho cheese bars, smores bars, chocolate fountain, cheese fountain, and more! There are even drink bars, such as the italian cream sodas and cappucino machines (which FI and I were offered at a recent Bridal Expo held at our venue).

Check out these cake/pie/cookie/dessert buffets!

S'mores Bar

I had originally wanted to do a cake buffet and get a whole bunch of different flavor cakes (think Guava, Green Tea, Hazelnut, Tres Leche, Cheesecake, etc) from local bakeries , but I ended up finding a great cake baker and decided to go with a 5 tier cake instead. But I am not giving up on the idea of having some kind of wedding bar. It will be a surprise for our guests, but here's a hint: it's not any of the above. Here's another huge hint below:

Is anyone having some type of Bar/Buffet at their wedding? How did you factor in the time for the Bar/Buffet?

  2. These look so great! Our venue does their own food and I dont think we are allowed to bring in any outside food...except for the favors...but they actually do a little dessert bar...how cool is that...good luck with your dessert bar...if I think I know what it is from the hints...then its going to be a hit! :)
